City to Install Speed Tables along J.B. Alexander Parkway

Laredo, Texas – The City of Laredo Engineering Department notifies the community of temporary construction work along John B. Alexander Parkway. Starting today, crews will be constructing six concrete speed tables at three locations between Del Mar and Shakespeare Ln, Shakespeare Ln and Mayela Dr., and Mark Twain Dr. and University Blvd. The project will take approximately 21 working days to complete. This project will be executed by ALC Construction Co., Inc. During the time of construction, there will be reduced lanes along the work zones.
Motorists and pedestrians are cautioned to avoid the construction area completely, take alternate routes, or use extreme caution when traveling through the site. Customers are urged to adhere to all posted traffic control signs and devices in order to provide safety to all citizens and minimize traffic congestion in the affected area.
