Municipal Court to Implement Increased Health and Safety Measures

LAREDO, Texas—The Laredo Municipal Court is informing the public that it will begin implementing increased health and safety measures. Beginning Monday, June 29, 2020, the physical Municipal Court offices will be closed to the public. The court will remain functional via telephone and Internet. Payments can continue to be made either online or via the deposit box located right outside the court entrance. Virtual court proceedings remain as scheduled. “This decision was made to protect both the public and our employees as we see an increase of novel coronavirus cases in our community,” said Municipal Court Judge Jesus “Chuy” Dominguez. “We will remain fully functional through phone and Internet and we will continue to perform our duties for the citizens of Laredo.”
