Did you know October is National Principal’s Month? National Principal’s Month recognizes the essential role that school principals play in making schools a great and successful environment for all students. United Independent School District Superintendent Roberto J. Santos, with the assistance of Laredo Council member Mike Garza, who represented City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas , honored them at a recent meeting where each UISD principal was presented with a proclamation honoring them for their hard work and dedication.
Mr. Santos commented that principals have a tremendous responsibility in setting the academic tone, as well as, providing the vision and determination that provide the mobilizing force for achieving student success at each of their campuses. The UISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Santos honor all principals for their tireless efforts in the pursuit of educational excellence for all our students.
