Commissioner’s Court to Discuss Item in Closed Session

(Laredo, Tx) – Of interest in tomorrow’s Webb County Commissioners meeting will be what is listed in the courts agenda as item 90 that reads,: Discussion and possible action to authorize the office of the Webb County Attorney Ana Laura Cavazos to represent Webb County and its officials or employees in connection with a charge of discrimination filed by Sara Alicia Davila with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; EEOC Charge No 451-2011-01561; and any other matters incidant there to. (Executive Session is requested pursuant to Texas Government Code, Title 5, Sub Chapter D, Section 551.071 (Consultation with attorney). The item will be discussed under executive session Monday August 8th at 9a.m. Sara Alicia Davila is Director of Las Presas Community Center and works under Webb County Commissioner Frank Sciaraffa who is rumored to be the subject of the complaint.
This states discrimination the talk in the county was that it was abuse of power for sexual favors that were given during working hours on county property! Get the facts straight people!
WTF WHY CLOSED SESSION?
It should read that the people are going to end up representing. Its our tax money that ends up paying the settlements.
