City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas joined Most Reverend Bishop James A. Tamayo and two of the three honorees for the 2nd Annual Catholic Social Services Recognition Dinner, taking place on Thursday, May 12, which recognizes three Laredo citizens for their life successes and community contributions. Mrs. Olga Verduzco and Mrs. Pura Averill (left to right), along with Monsignor Stanley A. Sliwiak, not pictured, will be honored that evening. Salinas expressed his honor to be part of the ceremony that introduced the honorees and looks forward to the community to participating and supporting this worthy event.
