Police Arrest Two Suspects Burglarizing Vehicle

Police arrested Lazaro Villarreal, 22, and Jose Armando Renteria, 17 for Burglary of a Vehicle, Theft and Evading Arrest. The duo was allegedly caught in the process of breaking into a vehicle at the 1300 block of Stewart when a witness saw them in the act. The witness called Police and gave them the information while it was in progress. 
The suspects then took off on foot walking towards Plum and Hendricks. When Police arrived the suspects ran away towards the housing projects near Maryland and Richter. The two were eventually caught and arrested by officers. The two were returned to the scene where they were identified as the ones witnessed earlier breaking into the car. The suspects had tools that had been stolen from the vehicle. They were booked and taken to Webb County Jail under no bond. Renteria has been in trouble with the law before including an Aggravated Robbery back in 2008 (read add on section to the bottom part of the e-mail for specifics on this case.) Villarreal is from Nuevo Laredo.
