Mojica Will Retire in Lemurs Jersey Courtesy Victoria Cardenas, Laredo, TX – The Laredo Lemurs have resigned Shortstop Jimmy Mojica for the International Sister Cities Classic this Thursday and Friday. Mojica was first signed by Manager Pete Incaviglia for the expansion-team Laredo Lemurs in 2011 and quickly tapped Mojica to become the team’s franchise player.

(Laredo, Tx)-The United Middle School 8th Grade Team continued its season this past Saturday against the Gonzalez Middle School Pumas who won the game the game was played at the U.I.S.D. Student Activity Center.
(Laredo, Tx)-The United South High School Panthers played the Corpus Christi Texans on Friday evening coming up a bit short on the scoring end of the game final score was 17-7. The game was played at the U.I.S.D. Student Activity Center.
(Laredo, Tx) The Memorial Middle School Eagles 8th Grade team played the Lamar Lions 8th Grade Green Football Team coming up short of a victory both teams played well both offensively and defensively.
(Laredo, Tx)-The Lamar Lions 8th Grade Green Team won their second game of the season defeating the Memorial Middle School Eagles Saturday morning in a game played at the Memorial Middle School Field. The Lions were near perfect both offensively and defensively.
(Laredo, Tx)-The Christen Middle School 7th Grade Gold Football Team started their season with a win over rivals Lamar Middle School scoring the only touchdown of the game early in the fourth quarter to win by a score of 6-0. The game was played on Saturday morning at the Kawas Elementary Football Field.
(Laredo, Tx)-The United South Middle School 7th Grade Football Team starts off their season with a victory monday afternoon at the U.I.S.D. Student Activity Center taking on Los Obispos Middle School Wildcats. The Wildcats were the first to score but it was all Leopards after that taking the first game of the season.
