(Laredo, Tx)-The Lamar Lions Green Team played an outstanding game today beating the Christen Middle School Cubs Blue Team in a game played at Memorial Field. This was the season opening game for both teams. Lamar will play the Memorial Middle School Eagles in the next game.
(Laredo, Tx)-The Dr. Leo Cigarroa Toros started their spring camp this week with two a day practices every other day starting at 6 a.m. during two a days and 8 a.m. during regular training games. The Toros will play their first scrimage two weeks from now as they prepare for the upcoming football season.

(Laredo, Tx)- Wide Receiver Jonathan Martinez #84 had four touchdowns on four touches today as the Lamar Lions White Team ran all over the Christen Middle School Blue Team.
