Upcoming Important Date for Property Tax Payments

LAREDO, TX – The City of Laredo Tax Department would like to remind property owners of the following important date taxpayers who owe 2023 delinquent taxes are urged to pay by Monday, July 1, 2024, to avoid attorney fees. Delinquent taxes that remain unpaid will be turned over to the delinquent tax attorney for collection and incur an additional 15% attorney fee added to the normal 18% penalty & interest. These fees will increase each month thereafter.
For taxpayers who are enrolled in the Split-Payment Option Plan, the last day to pay the remaining half payment of their 2023 taxes is Monday, July 1, 2024. Accounts that remain unpaid will be delinquent and incur 13% in penalties and interest. These fees will increase each month thereafter.
