A Grad Stroll Down Elementary Lane Newman Elementary School

(Laredo, Texas)-Graduating Seniors from the class of 2021 went down memory lane with their peers at Newman Elementary School. This was the school’s first visit for former Newman students, and it was a huge success. Graduates marched down the halls with posters announcing their college and field of study, while former teachers and staff cheered them on. Yearbooks from kindergarten to fifth grade were displayed in the halls, as well as photo picture frames for more memories to be made. They were surprised with the reveal of their 5th grade time capsule and received a gift full of goodies.
“We were thrilled to have our former Newman Toros back in the house,” said Principal Leticia Garcia. “It filled our hearts with joy to see our “Toritos” blossom into amazing young students ready to embark on their next chapter in their lives,” she added.
