The City of Laredo will provide a brush collection service by Zip Code starting Monday, May 10, 2021.

LAREDO, Texas— Brush collection amounts are normalizing. Therefore, the collection schedule, by zip code, will go back to normal on Monday, May 10, 2021. The City of Laredo is divided into 5 zip codes that allow the brush division to provide collection of brush to residential customers on a five (5) day rotating schedule. No phone calls are necessary to schedule pickup. It is the same schedule as the lawn-clipping collection schedule.

Collection of Brush is by Zip Code:

Monday: Zip Code 78046

Tuesday: Zip Code 78043

Wednesday: Zip Code 78040

Thursday: Zip Code 78041

Friday: Zip Code 78045

The City’s Curbside Brush Collection is a FREE service offered to Laredo residents to assist them with their large branches and tree limbs that cannot be collected through regular trash cart collection. Residents have the option of taking branches to the City of Laredo Landfill located at 6912 HWY 359. Documents accepted as proof of residency at the City of Laredo Landfill are:
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Current water bill with the same address as your ID

The landfill’s hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The landfill opens as long as weather permits. In case there is inclement weather, please call in advance.

Pick-up trucks hauling a trailer must enter the landfill 30 minutes before closing. Eighteen-wheelers must enter the landfill before 2:30 p.m.
