City of Laredo Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Closure

Laredo, Texas — In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the City of Laredo administration offices will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022. The Solid Waste department advises that there will be regular garbage collection on Monday and the City Landfill will be open on regular hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weather permitting. Lawn-clipping and branch collection will not be available.
Additionally, the 3-1-1 call center will operate regular hours on Monday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. El Metro Transit will continue to offer regular services for the fixed route and El Lift/Paratransit Service.
All administrative offices throughout the City are expected to resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
