LAREDO, Texas—The City Manager’s Office of the City of Laredo launched a dedicated Facebook page this week in an effort to create a space that can showcase key projects and services, as well as provide information quickly and clearly.
The recent appointments of both Assistant City Managers not only completes the city’s management team, but also signals a time for innovation and creative thinking.
There are various projects and initiatives the city overtakes that aren’t always visible to the public. Through the Facebook page, City of Laredo- City Manager’s Office, the department is taking a big step in being more community-facing and transparent. The public can expect to see content on the Facebook page that provides a more in-depth look at how the City of Laredo is working for its residents, and learn about the exciting new ideas and ventures that are developing.
“Since stepping into my role as City Manager, one of my main goals was developing easily-accessible resources and opportunities for our residents and the general public to see how we are working for them across all facets of the city,” said City Manager Robert Eads. “You will be seeing more communications and resources coming out of our office in the coming weeks.”
