Career Day On Wheels” Delights Zaffirini Elementary Students

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, Zaffirini Elementary School hosted a Career Day on Wheels for students in PK-5th grade. The goal was to help students understand the connection between their studies and what they learned from their interaction with local professionals.
Guests presenters included police and fire department personnel, border patrol and customs agents, 911 dispatchers, cosmetologists, veterinarians, medical examiners, attorneys, engineers and nutritionists. “The Career Day on Wheels was a valuable learning experience for our students. I appreciate and thank our presenters for taking time to visit with our students”, said campus Principal Claudia I. Benavides.
