United ISD is preparing for its 6th annual“Run Wild For Scholars 5K Run/Walk and Untamed Zumba Master Class.” They are two events on two separate occasions for the same cause. The 5K Run/Walk will honor First Responders, Military and the memory of two educators Adriana Rodriguez and Karina Villarreal.Adriana Rodriguez taught 2nd grade at Ruiz Elementary School And Karina Villarreal taught at St. Augustine Elementary School, however started her career in education as a teacher-aide at Clark Middle School. They were both passionate runners and we will continue to honor their legacy at this district event.
We at United ISD, honor, celebrate, and support our First Responders and Military, as we owe a debt of gratitude to them as they selflessly put themselves in harm’s way to help others.
