UISD Schools Enjoy McTeacher Night

LOVIN’ McTEACHER NIGHT: Trautmann Elementary School was one of the many UISD elementary campuses who participated in “McTeachers Night” held on October 4 at various McDonald’s locations throughout Laredo. Teachers and administrators donned their aprons to “work,” greeting parents and students, taking orders and serving food. The event is a collaborative effort in which McDonald’s contributes 20% of the sales back to campuses.
The event also encourages the importance of having dinner with the family and offers an additional opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and principal. Other UISD campuses that participated were: Ruiz, Finley, Cuellar, Prada, and Kazen Elementary Schools. Trautmann Elementary School had their McTeacher’s Night event at the McDonald’s located on Jacaman Road.
