On February 10, 2010 a person filed a police report in relation to some fraud occurring on his DirecTV satellite account. According to the complaint he explains that while trying to upgrade his DirecTV services, he discovered that an unknown person had called in and pretended to be him (the actual client). By doing this the unknown person was able to activate two access cards (boxes) and was getting free service at the legitimate customer’s expense. LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League host two big games this week at the Laredo Entertainment Center when they take on Corpus Christi Wednesday (Mar. 10th) and Arizona on Saturday (Mar 13th).

Eagle Pass, TEXAS – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Eagle Pass Port of Entry seized a significant cache of assault weapons and tactical equipment during a routine outbound inspection.
On March 3, 2010, CBP officers working outbound inspection operations alongside Border Patrol agents and Maverick County sheriff’s deputies at Bridge I referred a 1999 BMW 540i for an outbound inspection. In a collaborate effort by the Laredo Police Department and the Webb County Sherriff’s Department, Jose Lopez Jr., age 68, was served with an outstanding warrant for Not Complying with Sex Offender Requirements. Lopez was featured last week in the media in an attempt to secure his arrest for the safety of the community. The Laredo Independent School District’s Office of Communications and the Instructional Television (ITV) Departments received several 2009 Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) Best in Category, Gold, and Silver Star Awards for excellence in school communications. The awards were announced at the TSPRA Star Awards Celebration last week during the association’s annual conference in Austin, Texas.
