Police Looking to Identify Man in Video

 
 
The Laredo Police Department is trying to identify an elderly gentleman in this surveillance video from a local Wal-Mart Store on located Loop 20.  The incident occurred on May 23, 2009 when a disabled elderly woman used the special motorized scooter just before the man seen here in these images.  She regrettably left her purse behind in the scooter and drove away without noticing she forgot it until she gets home.  The man is seen driving out of the store with the purse still inside the basket on the scooter.  …

Providence, RI—City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas, while attending the 77th Annual United States Conference of Mayors Summer Conference in Providence, Rhode Island had a private meeting with Colombian President Alvarado Uribe Velez
 
President Uribe Velez had asked that Mayor Salinas be invited to a private briefing before his remarks to the Conference of Mayors to thank Mayor Salinas for co-sponsoring a pro-Colombia Free Trade Agreement resolution at last year’s meeting of the Conference of Mayors.
