Police Looking to Identify Man in Video

The Laredo Police Department is trying to identify an elderly gentleman in this surveillance video from a local Wal-Mart Store on located Loop 20. The incident occurred on May 23, 2009 when a disabled elderly woman used the special motorized scooter just before the man seen here in these images. She regrettably left her purse behind in the scooter and drove away without noticing she forgot it until she gets home. The man is seen driving out of the store with the purse still inside the basket on the scooter. Police believe that the man did not realize the purse was in the scooter and may have taken it by accident. The police would like to help the disabled woman reunite with her personal belongings if possible. We are asking anyone who may recognize the gentleman to please call us at the Laredo Police Department at 795-2800 with any information.
