City Cemetery Announces Extended Hours of Operation for “Día de los Muertos”

Courtesy Isabel Sosa,

Laredo, Texas—As the Mexican holiday “Día de los Muertos” approaches, the City of Laredo Cemetery announces its extended hours of operation for Friday, November 1st (All Saints Day) and Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, to open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Many in the local community honor this holiday, and the City understands the importance of paying respects to loved ones who have parted.

The community is reminded that the cemetery area adheres to the City of Laredo ordinances that prohibit alcoholic beverages to be onsite, as well as its not permitted to lit up a fire or barbecue on the premises.

The community can call (956) 795-2070 for additional questions.
