The liquor store will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve regular store operation hours from 10 am. to 9 pm. all stores will re-open their doors on December 26th and will remain open regular hours thru December 31st closing once again for the day on New Year’s Day. This year V&G Fine Spirits as well as other liquor stores across Texas expect better sales than the last two years in which liquor stores across Texas were closed on December 24th as well as the 25th before that happened in back to back years of 2022 and 2023 liquor stores were experiencing record sales during the holidays as sales continued to grow after the covid pandemic.

The 24th will be a hectic day for all liquor stores and that is why Joe Martinez of V&G Liquor store reminds everyone to shop as early as possible to avoid the last minute shopping that typically takes place.

Martinez says “This is the time to get your liquor shopping out of the way whether your shopping for gifts for loved ones or buying liquor for your christmas parties its always best to do it early so that you have more time to consider the wide variety of products that are now available adding “the liquor industry has changed throughout the years you have much more variety now in every liquor category bourbons, rums, vodkas and especially tequilas you see alot new products out there either in added flavors such as honey or apple for bourbons to cristalinos or lime flavored tequilas.

There is more to choose from now so you do want to take your time in making your selections not only have there been additions in products but there has been a change in consumer preference as well as they might have tried something that they liked a a local club or during vacations as they traveled.

The Christmas season is also a busy time for liquor distributors who are working non stop to make the holidays even more cheerful for everyone. During this time you see quite a number of distribution trucks on the road as they make their deliveries to local liquor stores.
