(Laredo, Texas)-Anthony Merino brings South Laredo’s Suga Show back to life with a message to their coach this afternoon that read “Let’s finish what we started” that statement became their battle cry on the court tonight as they beat On Scene by a score of 59-47.

Merino finishes the night with 17 points followed by a strong offensive performance by Jerry Garcia who contributes 16 points of his own while securing 11 rebounds.

Josue Casarez follows his boys with an 8 point performance while playing a tight defense that forced On Scene into passing situations creating turnovers that came back the opposite side of the court for points by his teammates.

Jonathan Bravo and Louie Ibarra continue their defensive dominance on the boards aggressively snatching 22 rebounds combined while adding 13 points to the scoreboard between the two towering duo.

Billy Rodd played a tough physical game defensively scoring 4 points on the offensive side while Joshwa Palacios and Chuy Cisneros come in at key points in the game to help tighten the Suga Show defense that gave up only 47 points to a tough On Scene Basketball Team.

Suga Show secures its first playoff victory in the City of Laredo’s A Division in its fourth season of playoff action. They go up against The Bad Boys this upcoming Thursday at 9 pm. at the Haynes Recreational Center.
