City of McAllen to Issue Sandbags

(McAllen, Texas)-The City of McAllen will be issuing sandbags Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., both days, weather permitting, for McAllen residents at the City of McAllen Westside Softball Complex (Westside Park), located at 1000 S. Ware Rd.
Residents must show proof of residency, including a valid ID or a current utility bill. Sandbag distribution will be self-serve and residents will be limited to six sandbags each and 12 for business.
For emergencies, citizens should call 9-1-1.
