United ISD’s Office of Communication Earns Accolades from Texas School Public Relations Association

(Laredo, Texas)-United ISD’s Communications Department won several awards at this year’s Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA). TSPRA presented the awards for excellence in school communication at their Star Awards Celebration on February 22, 2022, during the association’s annual conference in Round Rock, TX. Each year, TSPRA recognizes exceptional communicators in public school districts, education foundations, and educational organizations throughout the state of Texas for their outstanding work in both print, photographic, and electronic media. Entrants competed against districts or organizations of similar sizes in categories ranging from brochures, event programs, and identity packages, to photos, websites, and instructional videos.
Outstanding entries were honored with Gold Star, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Best of Category, and Crystal Certificates of Merit or Commendations. TSPRA is a professional organization based in Austin whose members are dedicated to improving public education in Texas. TSPRA supports its members by promoting effective public relations practices, providing professional development, and improving communication between Texans and their public schools. This year, the United ISD Communications Department won several awards in the following categories:
