UISD Seniors Visit their Old Elementary School

(Laredo, Texas)-UISD graduates from the class of 2021 were greeted and cheered on by 4th and 5th grade GT students as they strolled through the front doors of what, for many of them, is their former elementary school. The homecoming visit to Arndt elementary school gave the grads an opportunity to rekindle fond memories with their first teachers and old friends. Arndt elementary Principal Juanita Zepeda said that the visit was a wonderful sentimental journey for everyone at the campus.
“It meant so much that our former students made it a point to come back and visit the campus where they got their start as little children-and now they are embarking on the next chapter of their lives,” Zepeda said.
