Ms. Rosales is being recognized for her significant contributions to Diversity, Equity and inclusion in the following categories: Role model, leadership qualities, service to the community and compassionate caregiving. Presently, Ms. Rosales oversees the district’s 60 Registered Nurses, 23 Health Techs, 4 Licensed Vocational Nurses, 23 Health Assistants, 2 Health Aids, 1 Secretary and 1 Administrative assistant to meet the many needs of 50 school campuses, Cherish Center, PEP, JJAEP, district offices, and the service area.
“I’m ecstatic about this honor, but I am also humbled because there are so many other nurses who are equally qualified for this recognition. I always work on giving the best possible care, and my wonderful staff supports my efforts by emulating my approach to delivering the best healthcare solutions. I have been able to bring new innovative services to the district, so my staff also has numerous opportunities to learn new skills as well. I wish to thank Dr. Pat Alvoet, President of the Texas Nurses Association District 8 in San Antonio, for believing in me and nominating me for this honor. I consider it a privilege to work for our community and the students and employees of United ISD”, said Rosales.
