(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, Washington Middle School held their 6th Annual Literacy Rally for 220 students who met their reading challenge goals for the fall semester Celebrity radio personality C-Lo DJ from Hot 106.1 radio entertained the students and encouraged them to develop lifelong reading habits. “Our reading department worked hard to make sure that our students reached their reading goals. We rewarded their great work with a celebration that included a guest d.j., music, and fun games” said librarian/organizer Laura G. Ortiz.
