RBC’s Galaxy Adventure Summer Camp

Laredo, Texas – The Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center (RBC), in collaboration with South Texas Aging and Disability Resource Center a program of South Texas Development Council held the Galaxy Adventure Summer Camp, respite care services free of charge, exclusively for caregivers of children with disabilities on Wednesday, July 10th and Thursday, July 11th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the RBC – 1220 N. Malinche Avenue.
The Galaxy Adventure was carefully planned out for children between the ages of 5-12 by the Center’s staff. Fun-filled activities included Yoga with RBC’s very own therapists, fun crafts like NASA astronaut helmets and rocket jet packs, special participation by the Laredo Sector Border Community Liaison Program, and much more!!
Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center continues to be the only non-profit agency to offer occupational, physical, and speech therapy; transportation services, free diagnostic clinics, and social services to individuals of all ages regardless of means to pay.
