George Washington Middle School Students Pay Homage to “Dia De Los Muertos”

Courtesy Alex Meyer, (Laredo, Texas)-George Washington Middle School students studied the significance of El Día de Los Muertos throughout the month of November. To commemorate and celebrate they created  colorful and celebratory calacas (paper skeletons) and ofrendas (altars). Their craft projects were reviewed and  judged by UISD middle school and bilingual coordinators.
