Both courses will be taught at the Academy of Global Business and Advance Technology at United South High school by two highly qualified teachers: Mrs. Claudia Saenz for Logistics/Distribution Management and Mr. Carlos Sanchez for the Practicum in Technology.

Both teachers have extensive experience from time spent working in their respective fields of study. Moreover, Mrs. Saenz attended the Transportation Safety Institute at Oklahoma, and received a certificate in the transportation of hazardous materials.

“We are excited about the opportunity to provide relevant and meaningful curriculum that encourages students to engage in their learning. Furthermore, we are cognizant of the needs of our business community-Laredo being the largest Land Port; our students will be in position to take up employment in the import and export industry. Our goal is to continually provide locally and globally relevant choices and a competitive edge to students with different interests and talents as we prepare them to enter their chosen college or career path” said Koroma.
