United High School Chess Team Takes National Honors At Competition

Courtesy Veronica Cantu, (Laredo, Texas)-On February 14, 2015 the United High school Chess team traveled to Kingsville, Texas to compete at the Region 7 Scholastic Chess Tournament.  The UHS Team placed 2nd and went on to compete at the 2015 Texas High School Chess Championships, held in March 28 and 29at the McAllen Convention Center.
