(Laredo, Tx)-City of Laredo officials, the Mandel Family, and partners, including Robert Trent Jones, II, Landscapes Unlimited and Foresight Golf, and special invited guest Ladies Professional Golf Association legend and Hall of Fame golfer Nancy Lopez, officially opened the clubhouse at the Max A. Mandel Municipal Golf Course.  Joining them were golf players from the various local Laredo high schools who also enjoyed a private golf clinic with Lopez.  A golf tournament was also held today, all to raise money for a commemorative scholarship to be named in honor of Lopez which will be given to a deserving Laredo student who will pursue the game of golf in their higher education.
