Cigarroa High School Inducts Toro Legends

(Laredo, Tx)- Cigarroa High School inducted former Cigarroa High School alumni as members into their Toro Legends during a ceremony held yesterday morning at the Cigarroa High School gym.
The induction ceremony recognized 11 individuals for their outstanding achievements and contributions as distinguished graduates of Cigarroa High School. The recipients were presented with a plaque by school Principal Laura Flores and were also treated to a luncheon in the library.
“These Toro Legend inductees have been an integral part of Cigarroa High School and our community,” said Laura Flores, Cigarroa High School Principal. “We believe that loyalty, pride, and a yearn for success is a drive for many CHS alumni.”
This year’s inductees include Martin Aleman, Roger C. Rocha, Amy Castillo-Casares, Guillermo Villarreal, Robert William Burrier, Teresita Sanchez Benavides, Christina Dolores Soto, Sara Lara Barrios, Leroy Morin, Claudia Escamilla Sanchez, and the late Marcos Aranda.
