Representatives from the Texas Department of Transportation Laredo District as well as dignitaries from Congress , the City of Laredo, Webb County and I-69 joined together to break ground this past Friday marking the official start construction the Loop 20-McPherson Rd. Overpass Project.

Other guests included employees of the Texas Department of Transportation Laredo District and Area offices, Laredo Police Department, Laredo Fire Department, City of Laredo Code Enforcement, City of Laredo Parks and Recreation Department, Webb County, and the TxDOT Laredo Maintenance section of who participated in the event and assisted with traffic control, parking, shade and chairs, and preparations leading up to this event, respectively.
