The Last Knight tells story of Don Bernardo Gutierrez de Lara Uribe
(Laredo, TX) Texas author Joe Lopez, author of “The Last Knight,” will be in town on Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Laredo Public Library, HEB Multi-Purpose Room, 1120 East Calton Road, to discuss his book about Don Bernardo Gutierrez de Lara Uribe, a true Texas hero who fought for the rights and freedoms of the people of Texas long before the War for Texas Independence waged in 1836.
Don Bernardo’s story is one of faith, honor, gallantry, courage, sacrifice, suffering, intrigue and drama.
Come and learn about this largely forgotten hero. Copies of “The Last Knight” will be available for purchase and Lopez will be pleased to autograph copies for buyers.
