Cable Project to Close Street to Pedestrians

D-Line Operations will be working on the 600 and 700 Block of San Agustin Avenue between Hidalgo & Matamoros. The contractor will work on both sides of the street, performing a bore to run fiber optic cables that are part of a Time Warner Cable project.
Traffic control equipment indicating sidewalk closure and road work activity will be set up at site. The sidewalk on the east and west side of San Agustin Avenue will be closed, and pedestrians will be directed to use alternate routes.
The work will begin on Thursday, May 24, 2011 and will continue through Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Daily working hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
