Laredo Commission for Women to Honor, Induct Future Laredo Lady Leaders

Laredo, Tx – The Laredo Commission for Women, an organization whose mission it is to promote equality in legal, social, political, economic and educational opportunity and advancement for all women throughout the City of Laredo, will honor and induct the newest members to the Young Commission for Women on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at IBC Bank, located at Scott and San Bernardo Avenue. The inductees serve on the commission for two years and join their senior counterparts at their regular monthly meetings.
“These young women will dialogue with the Commission on issues they are believe are important or need attention,” said Juanita Lozano, event chair. “They also assist at all community events that the Commission is involved in.”
This year’s inductees include students from each high school. They are:
