On August 14, 2010 a routine traffic stop in the downtown area leads police investigators to the discovery of an intricate auto theft ring. The traffic stop of a Ford F-250 truck being driven by Angel Albert Perez returned with that truck being stolen out of San Antonio TX. The arrest proved to be significant due to Auto Theft Investigators interviewing Perez and resulting in more persons of interest involved in an elaborate auto theft ring which would not only steal Ford F-250s and F-350s from Laredo but also from San Antonio, TX. The group would transport the vehicles into Mexico through the International Bridges. The trucks are coveted by cartel operatives in Mexico for their ability to travel through rough terrain and generous load capacities. As persons were investigated more of them confessed voluntarily to the Investigators about others involved in the plot and the information that was needed to net a total of 8 arrests was obtained. The case is still ongoing since there are more people yet to be arrested. The case was successful due to the cooperation of DPS Laredo, DPS San Antonio, US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, and the Laredo Police Patrol Division. The Auto Theft Division Detectives were able to clear 8 cases of stolen Ford trucks from Laredo and 2 cases from San Antonio, TX. There were two trucks recovered, one truck from Laredo and the other from San Antonio, TX. All 8 people will be charged with Felony Theft, Felony Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
Since these arrests were made no F-250, F-350 trucks have been stolen.

LMFAO! ALL SEASONS MEAT MARKET GOT A FREE PLUG BY A CRIMINAL……I’LL NEVER BUY MEAT THERE AGAIN….:(

I hate these Mother F***ers, I had my truck stolen 0n 03/25/2011.
The police officer even said that they already knew who it was that was stealing the Pickup trucks from Laredo. He even told me that these guys had just been released from jail because no one went to press charges and our judicial system just does not issue out any harsh punishments for crimes like this. The detain them only for about 6 months then they release them to do it all over again. I had the honor of being in court, on the day that another car theif was brought to court to face charges. The judge looked at him and said that since no one was there to press charges and since he was a minor he would be give probation. WTF? I know that people get their insurance money for their stolen vehicles, but they also have to follow up with pressing charges. if you let them get their way no one will ever do anything about this.
