STAAR Motivation Rallies Held at Gonzalez Middle School

Gonzalez Middle School hosted STAAR motivational rallies for their students on March 31, 2014. The events featured dance performances by the Gonzalez Middle School cheer and dance teams and a STAAR skit by the school faculty.
Campus Principal Patricia Perez was joined by UISD Trustee Ricardo “Rick” Rodriguez and City Councilman Charlie San Miguel to express their support for Gonzalez students who began taking their STAAR tests on April 1. Tejano group Zenzible also made a special appearance at the rally. The group plans to reward the highest STAAR scoring student with a Tejano hat and autographed cd at a later date.
