Attempted Robbery on Tesoro Lane

(Laredo, Tx)- On March 21, 2013 at approximately 5 a.m., a 22 year old woman called 911 and claimed that a known male suspect drove up to her in a grey pick-up truck while she was walking on Tesoro Ln. and demanded money from her. When the woman refused, the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded money from her again. She then ran away and sought help at the Red Roof Inn on Calton and Tesoro lane where she called the police. The suspect was the victim’s ex-boyfriend and was identified. Officers were unable to locate the subject by the suspect’s last known address. The case remains under investigation and no arrests have been made. No money or property was stolen.
