5,000 TOYS FOR JOY FOR OUR CHILDREN WILL BE GIVEN AWAY

(Laredo, Tx)-Webb County Commissioner Pct. 4, Jaime A. Canales will be holding a press conference Wednesday, November 21 in support of Dunamis Ministries church and Senior Pastor Adria L. Acevedo’s “Ven Por Un Juguete” project.
During the conference, Commissioner Canales and his office staff will be distributing 5,000 toy vouchers.
Every year, for the past six years, over 10,000 children have attended a great Christmas Musical in an event titled “Ven Por Un Juguete” in which at the end of the musical our Webb County children receive a toy.
“It gives me great pleasure support a project such as this that will make Christmas a little more memorable for Laredo’s children,” said Canales. “The excitement of having Christmas gifts will put smiles on the children’s faces.”
Parents of the children can come by or call beginning November 26, 2012 through December 7, 2012 to pick up their Toy Voucher.
The press conference starts at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 21 in Commissioners Court located on the second floor at 1000 Houston Street.
