Rudy Gonzalez Ready to Serve as Constable for Pct.2

(Laredo, Tx)-Rudy Gonzalez a Certified Texas Police Officer, continues his quest to serve the citizens of Pct.2 as Webb County Constable. Gonzalez is currently a U.I.S.D. Police Officer and he is running to unseat Ricardo Rodriguez who was appointed to fill the position vacated by Ruben Reyes when he resigned last year. Rudy Gonzalez has also served the community as an LISD Police Officer as well as a Webb County Deputy Sheriff bringing with him over 33 years of combined law enforcement experience.
Gonzalez is a J.W. Nixon High School graduate. He attended Laredo Junior College immediately after high school. Gonzalez has also belonged and participated in various community organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Texas Municipal Police Officers Association, and the Texas Hispanic Police Officers Association.
This is Rudy Gonzalez second attempt to win the position having taken the former Constable Ruben Reyes to a run-off in 2008. Gonzalez currently resides in South Laredo.
