LISD campuses close for staff development

All Laredo Independent School District campuses will be closed Monday, September 6, due to staff development training. LISD administration, faculty, and staff will report to work on Monday morning for their required staff development training.
However, there will be no classes for students on Monday due to staff development training. Students will resume their regular schedules on Tuesday, September 7.
Faculty and staff will participate in various training exercises concentrating on Building Academic Vocabulary. The training exercises will be held at campuses throughout the district. Attached is a schedule of training activities.
The LISD Administration Offices and the LISD Tax Office will remain open. The Tax Office is located at 904 Juarez Ave. and will be open during regular business hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
