Free Haircuts for children heading Back to School at Fred M. & Anita Bruni Community Center

Rancho Peñitas West children will be sporting new haircuts as they head back to school next week thanks to local hairstylists, Patricia Salinas, Teofila Coss-Garcia and Ismael Inclan. The Community’s hairstylists will be providing free haircuts at The Fred & Anita Bruni Community Center on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 1:00-4:00pm.
The Center’s Director and staff collaborated with several of the Community’s hairstylist to ensure the children from our rural area are ready from head to toe when they arrive for their first day of school on Monday, August 23, 2010. Last week the Center’s Back to School Extravaganza provided their school supply essentials and this week we are providing shoes and haircuts to ensure the kids feel good about their appearance as they begin the 2010-2011 School Year.
“We want to extend our most heartfelt thanks to the local hair care professionals for providing this much needed service for our local children. We know some of our children would have to go without if it were not for the generosity of our community partners.” stated Jose R. Gutierrez, the Community Center’s Director.
