LPD Narcotics and Vice Unit Arrest 12 Men in Undercover Prostitution Sting

On Thursday evening members of the Laredo Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Unit, along with the Patrol Division and POPS conducted a special detail on the west side of Laredo, specifically along the San Bernardo Avenue area. The objective was to locate, identify and arrest anyone soliciting prostitution. A total of twelve males were arrested for soliciting sex for money from an undercover law enforcement officer. All twelve men were charged with Prostitution, a Class B Misdemeanor and two of the twelve were also charged with Possession of A Controlled Substance (cocaine) F/3. All twelve were booked at the Laredo Police Department and later remanded to the Webb County Jail.
