On Wednesday January 06, 2010 at 4:40 pm at the intersection of Clark Boulevard and Arkansas a tan in color Chevy Blazer struck a 14 year old male and left the scene without stopping and rendering aid. The child suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the LMC in stable condition. The suspect vehicle was located at Clark Boulevard and Louisiana Street. A female driver identified as 18 year old Viviana Castaneda was arrested and charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid during an accident involving injuries and a State Jail Felony. Bond amount is pending magistration.
