210 lbs. of Marijuana Seized

On Tuesday November 3, 2009, LAREDO POLICE NARCOTICS OFFICERS, I.C.E. AGENTS, Pipe Line Officers, and Patrol officers working routine patrol arrested Raul Hernandez, age 21, and Juan Carlos Medina, age 18.  The two of them were placed under arrest at Zapata Hwy and Lomas Del Sur. After LPD Narcotics officers along with Pipe Line officers discovered eight bundles of Marijuana in their vehicle the two were taken to headquarters were they were processed and turned over to ICE Agents for federal prosecution.

POLICE SEEKING IDENTIFICATION OF PERSON OF INTEREST

 The Laredo Police Department is asking the community’s help in identifying a person of interest involving a robbery case that happened in the month of October.  The man featured is young and is wearing a dark blue t-shirt and blue jeans.  The person is only wanted for questioning and is at this point only a person of interest.  If anyone can identify this person they are asked to call Laredo Police at 795-2800 or call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 727-TIPS.  If the information leads to an arrest …

 While Winnie the Pooh’s 100 Acre Woods may exist only in animated reality, Laredo’s North Central Park will soon boast its very own, very real 100 Acre Woods, filled with 100 trees, thanks to the volunteer efforts of Laredo’s very own citizens.

Bucks Watch Party Tonight at Hal’s

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will hold a watch party on tonight (Nov 4th) at Hal’s Landing when the team is in Arizona to take on the Sundogs at 8:05pm CST. Igor Agarunov will be at the party to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.
