Temporary Night Time IH 35 NB Closure

LAREDO – Weather permitting, on Oct. 20, 2009 from 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. on Oct. 21, 2009, a temporary nighttime IH 35 NB closure at the FM 1472 overpass project will be put into effect to install steel girders as part of the NB FM 1472 direct connector bridge.
All NB traffic will be required to exit at the Del Mar exit and use frontage road to access on-ramp south of Shiloh to return to NB IH 35.
For more efficient traffic control, the FM 1472 SB access loop will be closed to thru traffic and FM 1472 SB traffic will be directed to access southbound direct connector (SBDC) during the projected closure.
Police officers will be assisting with traffic control during closures. The traveling public should slow down, drive with extreme caution, and observe all safety signs, traffic control devices and flaggers in the work zone area.
