TB CLINIC CLOSES FOR REMODELING/LABORATORY COSTS

Laredo, TX – - The City of Laredo continues the remodeling and constructing of its Health Department.  This next phase includes the TB and Maternity Clinics. 

 During this period, to assure continuation of services, and to provide safety for patients and clients, we are making the following temporary change:  effective Thursday, October 1, 2009 through Friday, October 2, 2009, the City of Laredo Health Department TB Clinic will be closed to the public.

 TB services will resume on Monday, October 5, 2009 at their temporary site located at 2002 Guadalupe  (next to Ruth B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center).

 During this transition, the clinics will operate regular hours from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. 

 NOTICE-LABORATORY COSTS CHARGED

 *Effective October 1, 2009, all laboratory fees will be charged.  Costs will vary depending on the laboratory tests.  For example:  Buena Vida standard panel will be $35.00 for women and $40.00 for men.    If you have any questions about the fees, please contact the Laboratory at 956-795-4908 or 956- 795-4930.
