Laredo, Texas – In response to recent public confusion and commentary regarding the upcoming bond election, the City of Laredo would like to provide clarification: the May 3, 2025 bond election cannot be canceled under current Texas law. On February 11, 2025, the Laredo City Council passed Ordinance 2025-O-21, officially calling for a bond election.
